Seamless Boarding House Marketplace for Modern Living
A robust information system designed as a marketplace to facilitate boarding house rentals. This platform enables property owners to list their rentals and market them effectively through the application. Equipped with 360-degree imagery and advanced search features, the system emphasizes user experience to make finding the ideal boarding house seamless and intuitive, with comprehensive property details available at a glance.
As the full-stack developer of Apparte Kost, I led the design and implementation of a modern digital marketplace aimed at simplifying the process of finding and managing boarding houses. The platform bridges property owners and tenants through an intuitive system that emphasizes accessibility, visual engagement, and seamless user experience.
My responsibilities included crafting the entire system architecture—from backend API design to frontend user interfaces. I developed modules that allow property owners to list, manage, and promote their properties effectively, complete with 360° virtual imagery and advanced search filters for users to find accommodations that suit their preferences. The integration of Google Maps API enhanced location discovery, while the WhatsApp API facilitated instant communication between tenants and landlords.
From a technical standpoint, the project was built with a React Native mobile app and a Next.js web dashboard, both powered by a backend service developed in Node.js and Express.js, with PostgreSQL as the core database. The system was designed to prioritize responsiveness, real-time updates, and a clean, modern interface supported by Tailwind CSS.
